Well they dug up the road even more, taken away all the parking for bikes! We'll just do the filthy biker scum bit and park up on the pavement!
Been a whiles since I gone a swarming! Spot you tomorrow unless Wanpo bollocks up the weather!![]()

Keen!
Hopefully weather holds, I'm looking to bring my new camera, you will all be in glorious HD!!
Though I hope we go somewhere with a healthy option for eats, tomorrow I start my new life as a "healthy person" where there will be walks, gyms and even vegetables. Gone are my katsu, takoyaki and MSG infused Asian food![]()
Pff, parking on the footpath is a given. Half of us do it anyway!
Been a few weeks away for me too, keen to ride.
Fingers crossed that Wanpo hasn't jinxed the weather!
Hope the weather holds okay for you guys... I'm a bit under the weather, so I'm not going to be coming.![]()

Get better soon. We'll see you another time, Gremlinette
Finally managed to get out for a test ride on a 'Busa today, 2008 model. I like.
You like, but did you buy!?
Not yet, I want to take my wife for a spin on it first. See if she likes it too, since unsurprisingly she hates the pillion seat on my thou. Then convince her that we need to spend the additional coin so we can have both bikes, since I like my thou so much and don't really see the 'Busa as a good commuting option.
When I rode one I found it a good commuter for that kind of bike, SO much better than the zx14 in that regard. But the 14 won on everything else.
Definitely doable!
Though if I has the option of having yet another bike I'd take it too![]()
I haven't tried the 14 so can't compare the two. When I say the Busa's not a commuting option for me, that just refers to it being a bit bulky IMO for the kind of slow and often very tight lane splitting we have to do in our wonderful Auckland traffic. Other than that it was absolutely mint, powerful, very comfortable, easy handling, and hopefully goes great 2-up. I can see myself owning one, hopefully my wife can too![]()
I split just fine on the 14.
Did I get the time wrong or something. I'm the only one here!
Well a change of routine there, had dinner and drinkies before the major part of the ride! All good, was a great spread by Momo tea and the riding in foggy conditions made for more interesting times!
New gear and getting use to the feel of cowhide on me ... all good! But the old camo ninja gear is much more comfortable and easier to get around in.
Dessert at BK Takanini was a new thing!
