Well..uuummmmm let me see... quick and easy ahhh in a word.. NO ..i actually avoid 4x4 work for this very reason
the type of mud and clay like you get at thundercross is a real prick to get off, really needs a high powered water blaster even then .. any of the cheap degreasers you get at repco or supercheap are ok, 5 litres usually makes 20 litres once diluted but make sure the instructions say you can use it on aluminium.. NOW for the real stubborn stuff like thunder or cow shit or lime from road works .. this is going to sound like a paid commercial but i have no vested interests in this company, i have used a sample bottle i was given to try.. this stuff really does what it says
and over the last few weeks has saved my ass a number of times with dried cow shit on sills and under guards the product is PROCLEAN..BUT weather you use a cheap degreaser, dynamo, or proclean , first off spray the lower 3rd of your car with degreaser with the car dry be quick and dont let it dry in the sun, pay attention to the wheels, sills and underguards , spray it off and wet the vehical thoroughlly now take a wool wash mitt ...now i can recommend a good cheap car wash its KOALA KARE from super cheap now make sure its the SUPER WASH PLUS ..and NOT the car wash they are in identicle containers about $10 for 2.5 litres and it goes a long long way, wash car all over with this then wash off, now at this stage i take a water blade and get any excess water off then use a shamey or i use cotton nappies to dry it ...Quick HELL no.. but clean HELL YES most of my car work is mercedes, porche ,bmw, hsv, fpv, audi ,so most of those are pretty clean ive just worked out that over the 10 years ive been in business ive probably washed a total 14,500 cars![]()

Cheers, was hoping there would be something as easy as cleaning the bike, but looks like no. Tried a few things but nothing that just sprays on and rinses the dirt off without using a brush. Didn't want to use Dynamo on the paint just in case like you or someone said it removes the wax etc.
Im not sure about dynamo .. most of the cars i clean are black
probably 75% so you would really notice if things arent right, i only degrease the lower part of the car and have not noticed any problems and i clean most on a regular weekly basis some customers ive had for 10 years
i've also tried truck washes but i personaly think they are a waste of time most car washes seem better .... ok heres a good tip when washing a car or ute never let it dry off by itsself always keep it wet .. so it means you have to dry it really fast makes a huge difference thats why i use a water blade to dry the roof, bonnet, and boot before finishing with a cloth.. if i come across something else i will let you know as im always testing new products
