It seems this thread is dove-tailing nicely now, just got to hammer down some of the finer points so that people aren't eroding away the foundations, but then again, the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree so to speak.

Well this thread has been well done over, time to roll out the barrel and get partying so we aren't pining for any more material!

    Hello All

I'm the bearing the brunt of all the jokes which are tree-mendous. I am out of hospital and on the road to recovery. I appreciate the jokes and good wishes.

Clearly the crowning moment of his treemendous career, analogous to going out on a limb fir others. Perhaps being a bike cop is not all its cracked up to be, lumbering along minding one's own business when an Ent decides to root your ride.

Well Muppet, I wish you all the best, recover well and fast, stay away from sticky tape where possible, minimise all needles, and ring us if you need anything. btw your name isn't Douglas Redwood is it?

Just a question after your unfortunate accident , did you need a doctor or a tree surgeon?

Great to see your limbs are operating well enough to type ! All speed getting yaself on ya feet and out there again Muppet !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Humour is good for the soul.
Now that you've become so well-known round these parts, you're not gonna leaf, are you? Who knows, you may even cultivate a few friends. Sow a few seeds, so to speak?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
