Ho-Ly-Shite. :O 2000cc, 354kg dry, 260bhp, turbocharged... Appart from the weight, that reads like a cage... If it wasn't for the electric limiter... Don't even want to think about the damage you could do with that thing. "Mammut" with good reason.

Hmm, the bikes I would love to have, I most probably will never own, they just too big for me...

    R1, 996.... Fireblade! (heh, I sound like NC_30 now... )

I had the bike i dreamed bout owning (in a real world) a brand spanking new GSXR600K2 (telefonica rep) lasted four weeks then it was time to heal up and go back to a TL1000S, bloody cool bike the TL, but a bit lacking in performance these days.
GSXR wiping the shit that is that Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki off the road since '85'

    Those germans, crazy fellas.
I like theyre style in fighters' too.
Ill leave the restrictors (250kph) in for about 1 year to get used to the bike. Then look at bypassing em with a new fuel injection unit.
as for the XS's, im more of a triple man myself (750/850), cept i cant find any kits to convert these to chain drive (esp 850's) - or a light bolt on diff replacement.
Ive got about 5 850's sittin in dads shed when i can be bothered fixing one. Will try it someday.
The bike is older then me

"in twenty years?" I've owned RE5s for 30 years, and plan on at least another 20.

Only 9 years to go now and I will have had my VFR 20 years. It still runs like new now so I can't see any reason why it won't be in top condition then. Eventually I might have to replace the rear shock and the brake pads and maybe the chain one more time in that time, plus the usual oil and filters and a set of spark plugs and no doubt some more tyres, but that's about all I'd expect.
    Cheers
