Accesories for XR400

im looking for a rear carrier for my 97 xr400 and posibly a front carrier also - does anyone know who makes them or where i can get them ?

You might want to look at strengthening the sub frame if you're planning to put a rack on the back. Especially if you're planning on carrying any great weight on it.

Hi have a look what's been done on my XR600 for a rear rack over here: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...t=83420&page=4 - there's a picture of the brackets welded on for a ventura rack or grabrail. I assume the XR400 is similar at the back.

I haven't tried it loaded up much yet but it looks pretty sturdy. You can get Ventura bolt on brackets for XR's too through Dold Industries in Te Rapa.
