Test ride #2. The street triple encourages me to ride like an absolute nutcase. More so than it's bigger brother because it is sooooo easy to have fun on this bike.

Perversely I think I trust myself on the bigger machine more.

Yep, it's too good a bike for me

Have to agreee with that We've got three in the garage, 2 955i Daytona's and a 08 Tiger. I'm having to sell the 05 Daytona which is gutting as it's such a work of art. Test rode a Rocket 3 for fun the other day, very impressive machine but I won't be getting one of those for awhile. Tip - if riding a Rocket 3, be very careful when maneouvering on loose gravel in tight leathers!

Yes, Triumphs are indeed the biz.

Since buying my Speed Triple, I am having to beat off the birds with a stick. It's hard to find the time to ride it sometimes, what with the queue of supermodels out of the door and everything.

We may have to do something about that. IF you lend me your trailer to get to Taupo in January.

I've heard with Triumphs, with birds flocking to them as they do, the pillion part of the seat wears out pretty quickly

Further more, i think Triumphs have character that a lot of bikes don't, and now with the 675, they are making excellent bikes that can compete with the best that the japs have to offer.

Hell yes! I managed to save it just in time, would have hated to have to take it back to the shop and explain that one!

Very very true. Hopefully, one of our crew will appear with a 675 very shortly.
