Drury Performance Centre - 'kin awesome!!

After finding my rear hoop was not going to make it through the old WOF, I got a quote for a new BT016 from a well known bike shop in Auckland. $379 plus a wad of cash to fit it. It would be a smaller wad of cash if I bring just the wheel in, but who has the time.

Gave Drury Performance Centre (just off the motorway at the Drury offramp)a call, and they do the same tyre for $335. Oh, and fitting is free, wheel or bike!! He ended up only charging $325 anyway.

So, I go in and fuss over the dude pulling my wheel off, but he is more careful than I am with it. Torqued the axle nut and all, wiped the rim down after to clean it up and overall did a fantastic job.

So, all up it was nearly $100 cheaper and the guys are fast and friendly. I would go back just for the price, but that kind of service makes you almost look forward to coughing for new rubber. I will be back there!

    GOOD ON YA, FULLAS!

Nice one, is that the place just before the roundabout heading into Drury on the left? Saw a few bikes around there last week. Might have to head there to get a quote towards the end of summer.

Yeah, left at the Drury offramp and they are on the left just before the roundabout. They always have a few bikes out front.

I've been thinking of throwing my business down that way since I'm a soufsider! Glad to hear of your experience, will give them a go on my next change of rubber!

Visited them early winter to price a Pirelli Rosso for me on the '04.
Mike seemed to know his shit (i only remeber his name cause he shares it with a mate of mine), his price was good, and keen to help.

Unfortunately the bike didn't last with me long enough to take advantage of his service.

So yeah, just a +1 on giving them a go.

Yeah, ya should. Mike's great, he put the dunlops on Lucy for me. Does a great job. He also helped me change my fork seals, for a REALLY good price (seeing as I'd already f***'d them up).

They're branching out of just tyres into the mechanical side too.

The owner, Anthony, is a big part of the Redeemed MC, really great guy to talk to.
I figure car drivers must be Apes. All they do is sit in cages all day & grunt
