What's the worst bike you've ridden?

    there's been a few.
an old 80's cb650 i used to own,was pretty ordinary.
but one bike in the same era, comes to mind. a kawasaki 550. i can't remember the exact model, but crickey, was it a real dog.
it had power nowhere, noises everywhere, and pretty much didn't do what you told it to do.
it was butt ugly, petrol hungry, and flat out,was probably around the 140kms mark.
i didn't own this bike, but rode it to work a lot at the time.it certainly put me off ever buying one, that's for sure.

i'd be more then keen to hear some of your horror stories.

    I can even beat that!

A Heinkel touring 250 motorscooter it had a car battery sitting on the floorboards and some times you had to slide it out of the way to use the brakes!!!
Ride it too hard and the engine cover would catch fire, it was a sort of bakelite- plastic resin thing that was one piece over the entire arse end with a seat on it. But it did have a spare wheel and a wheelbrace...
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......

Sorry guys, got you all beat. The worst bike I ever rode was the evil ex, the bitch was super hard to get started, would bite and kick for no apparent reason, handled badly, got heavier with age, and it seems that other people liked riding her too.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

Yep, I'll jump on the GPZ wagon with you. We had a 500 with drum brakes and its handling was somewhat average. It was far superior once we did it up but we haven't owned any Kawasakis since!
