went there today..was fairly dissapointed..Bike show getting smaller every year..

big ups to the folks at Scooters and Dirt for letting me drop my gear under the desk and to Independent Prestige (the Lambo guys in Grey Lynn) for the tickets.. (its not WHAT you know .. its WHO..)

    quick rundown...

new VMax.. PhOOOAR!!!...might see if i can finagle a ride on one somehow

    new Victory bikes.. Meh..average

Can-Am Spyder..Interesting..props to BD for the lowdown..may be one in the Stable eventually

    boat show......zzzzzz.ZZZZZZ..zzzzzzzz

Stunt fags..average.. seen better but this IS Dorkland..

Skater Fags took over the big hall where the bike show used to be.. homos in eye liner and hair putty...DO NOT WANT..

need more bike accessory stalls.. more computer stalls..more pubs (without Tui) and more MAN stuff..not little metro-sexual shit..

maybe a couple cool bands (Motorhed..Foghat..the Datsuns..)..not the pub band they had in the Tui tent..

    just my .02

i'm takin the tool truck out tomorrow.. hopin to catch DMNTD and BD and hit up the stall with the Absinthe

Here are a few of the many pix I took tonight. Sorry if I haven't gone "exotic" enough, I snapped what I found interesting/pretty/unusual. A few pix of me too taking advantage of sitting on a number of bikes I'd probably never get to ride (including the 'busa, at least now I can dream about having sat on one!!)
    Anyway, pix.....

liked the Buell after BD showed it to me..not sure about the D N01 or (believe it or not) the new FJR Yamaha (FJ's should NOT have an auto trans..)

(ps..someone asked me what Spooky had under the tank today..)

I think they are seriously good fun.
They sent my KR article to the factory.

Ah I was wondering if that was you. We were looking at the new Honda CB1000R (I think) and saw a guy come up wearing a McRides t-shirt.

When we went past the KR stand they kept trying to sell us two magazines and a cap for $10, when we wouldn't the guy swore at us! Haha.

Yeah - I'm on the Triumph stand, but as I'm working for KR mostly - if people have been asking me about the bikes I've tested we go check them out as well.

Had good yarns with a number of KBers today - sorry I missed you.
