    Completed Project

The rebuilt CBR is complete. Took it from Picton - Akaroa on sat and back again yesterday. Loved every second on it!

hopefully I can get the attachments to work of before and after. The completed bike is not such a flash photo as I took it on my phone cos I cannot find the USB cable for my camera

Wow, nice job Stevo. Pity we missed you on Saturday, we didn't end up staying as long as I thought we would. You could've swapped notes with Gav, he's been doing something similar.
Were you nervous about riding it? When I rebuilt my last bike (VFR700) I nearly dropped it on the gravel car park outside work 'cause I was paranoid about binning it, which made me nervous, which made me ride like a total noob.

Good on you for completing it.
    Always rewarding doing things yourself.

As for your first statement- my lovely wife has never complained at new bike or maintence issues, probably because it saves me annoying her too

    That is correct.

I had all the fairings done professionally as I had heard they come up a lot better when they are done in the oven.
They guy did a fantastic job on them.

As for the ride. I have been buzzing ever since Saturday when we headed to Chch. Was hoping to show it off to a few more Kbers tho
Just Joking (I think). Certainly pretty proud of it tho.

Better still it performed as good as it looked, which is always the bonus!
