1996 XT600 price?

Need to pick yer collective adventuresome brains:

I've been looking after an XT600 for a mate in the UK who now wants me to sell it.
It's got about 58,000kms on it and has been around NZ 3 times (with him) & always been sweet. I put a Mitas E-07on it which I bought off tri-boy last summer, given it a couple of oil&filter changes, and put rego on hold. Other than that I've taken it for the odd spin to keep her lubed & charged.

Any ideas what it could be worth? I've got someone interested, but don't know what to ask for. Is $3.5k about right/too much/you're having a laugh..?

$3500 is a good starting price. Sold a 2005 a year ago for 5k with 40,000k.

Gotta start somewhere I paid 3k for my 87 Tenere with about 60,000 on the clock so you might want to up the start a little.Sold my 96 f650 for 4k and that had alot more kms on it.

Ok, seeing as he's a mate i think 3-3.5k sounds 'bout right then...
