Definately not a mustard leather jacket. Tweed sportscoat, or army great coat depending on weather. Or a creosote suit maybe.
I only saw the HRD and it was going sooooo slow and I was overtaking in a van, if my non googled recollection serves me. wasn't HRD something like Howard Robert Davis TT winner who briefly made his own brand bikes before Phil took over. But I think the HRD on the tank was deleted after the difference of opinion ( WW2).
From the rear is looked to be giving a very hard ride...almost rigid....but I'm sure they pioneered the single point under seat springing that was " invented" by Yamaha in the 70's LOL.

Add my vote as well, My bike is almost 20 years old, and whilst it is not a classic my next bike probably will be...It all depends on what defines a classic...Mid 70s BMW R65, or maybe an early 80s Suzuki GS850....Duno yet, but the older girls have more character...

Yes, I think its a good idea as long as there's a simple 20 or 25 year age limit and no bollocks about which bikes qualify as classics. If someone loves it enough to put up with its rattly old carcass, I reckon its a classic ;-)

Well, it's a forum. Why does there need to be a rule on how odl the bike should be. If someone posts something about an entirely inappropriate bike, the derision and contumely will send them on their way. And why would anyone? Any more than someone would post stuff about a road bike in the Off Road forum. Or post stuff about a GSR1000 in the scooter forum.

+1 for the classics - anything up to early 90's is the future classic, GSXR 750, VMAx,916. Or anything someone wants to spend more time and money on than its worth to keep it going should be allowed - no need for age/brand snobiness.

no..my age makes me feel old...

i think rare, (limited production, etc) cult (waterbuses, Vmax, Katana, etc) or "milestone" bikes (FJ's, Early Gixxers, ThunderAce's ,CBX's ) should qualify personally..all have certain quirks, personalities and followings

This ( soon to be Forum ) is useless with out picture ,,,said he , who cant put it about no more

I havent binned a 2 fiddy in a while but the Enfield goes down like a 2 dollar .......... usually practice days ,.. Havent binned it in a race , though I did blow up the motor due to another bike punting my exhast pipe forward going into a corner

2 laps later on an weak mixture the Rocker block siezed ...thing got interesting in Enfield land

Still I have fitted a higher flow fuel tap , stronger wheel spindle clamps , will paint the tank again ,,,and shes ready for the coming season
