    Yeehar a supertrapp muffler

Yeehar just scored myself a supertrapp muffler for the XR, this should give me the sounds I'm after.

NZ$180, I don't think that's too bad cause it cost over US$200 stateside. (not affiliated in anyway )
    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-188953677.htm

It comes with 12 plates, clueless how many to use on the 200, maybe 8? How loud can I get away with before I get a slapping?

Now to find someone willing tah help me put it on the bike for beer...

Awesome. Haven't seen a supertrap in years, keeping it oldschool. Just play with the plates to get the noise levels your after or untill nieghbours complain.

i really hope you guys are joking.....

and if youre not - please dont annoy anyone with your bike on purpose. its hurting the sport with tracks being closed due to the non riding public teaming up about disliking bikes

of course we are! I'm a responsible nanny

Besides, I don't think my purring XR200 trail would be as loud as a screaming CR at any given day, and taking all the rings out of the supertrapp actually quietens it down! which I'm sure laserracer is aware of

    have a , it's friday!!

Hey Oldskool, thanks for the message, we just bought the other one!!! I had one of these back in my XR days (twin Shock models and first of the prolinks) The lad is wrapped. Lets know if you come across a good shock, preferably adjustable.
Owe you a beer or three.

no problem. I can't wait to get mine on, have to sort something out next week.

Theres a shocky on this sad looking XR, it's down in Dunedin but it won't sell for much, rims look fairly clean as well. http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=189124195 If you do organise something with the trader, I'd be keen on the R/H muffler side cover!
