    Wheelies for the glory

Wheelies make you a better rider.

Choose 1st or 2nd (pref 2nd for starters)
Roll on the throttle till the engine starts to deliver good power then roll off/on quickly and it should start to pull up.
If its a struggle give the bars a push down/pull up at the same time as rolling off/on the throttle.

Chrislost is really good at wheelies too by the way

Thanks Westie, I worded my Thread wrong, I know anything can pull the wheel up in a low gear but I was meaning at speed, my mistake.

Another tip.... is find a nice long hill, cause when going up a hill it uses less effort to get a bike lifted & also when ya on the flat if ya don't get the bike high enough...you will keep accelerating to fast(cause ya wont be at the level yet to try & change gear in a wheelie),so a hill tends to keep the speed down while you learn to try & find the balance point(which is that horrible gut feeling u get at first haha!, If ya keep at it, that horrible gut feeling will go away... & use the force!
    Fook Yeah!...Me Got DRZ400sm Now!

& still can't spell for shit!

LOl Flipped my dirt bike on friday. Had gone from 1st gear through to third gear so the bike needed some BFH panelbeating after it hit the ground and fliped a few times.

Wouldn't mind some tips on the gear changing too.

Ride on a Striple, give it a little juice in first gear and hey presto, up comes the front wheel.

Westie have fun mate, and never too much fun ...

The KX5 is totally off the hinges...if you get the chance to ride a 5-OH pay the money and do it, you won't get another chance

    My 30 cents

    Fairly regularly actually....

I'd be more inclined to see you lot learn to fucking ride properly than trying to look cool.
