now im thinking what the shit? that's not right but nodded head.
" Im just trying to stop you guys getting knocked off bikes, your speed limit is 70 not 100 its there for a reason"
    walks back to his car.

Thanks for your yarn. The cop obviously does not know his arse from his elbow. You have grounds to complain about his ignorance, the higher up you do it, the better... Transport minister maybe....

You are supposed to ride in the right side of the lane. It is the safest way because it is easier for drivers to see you and it is easier for you to see them. Hiding on the left side of the lane is not good for your health...

Police offiers who distribute wrong and dangerous disinformation should be taken off the street and re-educated before they are allowed to continue harrasing people...
    Ride fast or be last.

I hope John Key does something about getting the large amount of nazi's in the NZ police force out on their arse....they're just giving the good cops a bad rep. Doing someone for a rego that'd expired a week ago is just ridiculous.

Write a letter in begging mercy for the expired rego (wot with all the other fines and all) and accept the 25 points and 12kmph above limit thingie. If you get no joy then I'd speak to a lawyer before appealing it.

Step 1 - Take down the photo and if you really want to put it back up blur out the rest of the identifying stuff like rego and officer number.

Step 2 - DO NOT PAY THE TICKET - Might not even be processed because of the errors - speed limit, demerits, speeding offence noted when you weren't "speeding" etc.

Step 3 - If a reminder notice ever turns up you should contest it based on the glaring errors. Re-read Ixion and Mikkel's posts if you need more info.

And don't sweat the demerits. That whole section is wrong. You might get 25 for breach of license condition tho.

Watch out L platers. The in Auckland seem to be making up their quotas (is it done annually?) on this rule lately. Have heard of many learners being pulled for over 70km/h in the last 2 months. Lovely xmas presents huh. $800 if you're missing the L plate too.

    Position
You can use your position on the road to make sure others see you, by riding in the position taken up by the RIGHT-HAND WHEELS of the vehicle in front of you.

    Need me to continue?

When riding in this position at the correct following distance, you will be seen in the rear view mirror of the vehicle in front, and therefore ,more likely to be noticed. This right wheel track position also allows you to see to be seen by oncoming vehicles, and for you to see them.

As well as helping you to be seen, riding in this lane position allows you to avoid oil slicks that form in the center of lanes.

So the copper was just talking out his arse excuse the language
Ah okay, thanks for that. I stand corrected.

I was pretty sure there was a question in the written test about keeping left (which is what got me thinking about it when I read your post) and that info was all I could find on the LTSA website.
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

I read the motorcyclist road code religiously before my learners lols
Ladies, if a man says he will fix something, he will fix it. You don't need to keep reminding him every 6 months
