I have been looking at the 750F - they seem to be very well priced for what they are. I am wanting a sports-tourer rather than a sports bike or cruiser, something I can run up a few kms travelling around the country. It sounds like they are good despite being fairly cheap to buy - I think I will have to start saving my money to buy one.

Statements that the bike is bland or boring because it just does everything well puzzle me.
a little character in a vehicle goes a long way, i find white 5 door toyota corollas extremely boring, but they do everything well dont they.

Just been doing a bit of sorting out and noticed this post. Please note that the 750 is from the old "teapot" days and has nothing to do with the 650 I bought.

So please don't take anything in my review of the current model as applying to the old GSX range. Completely different bike.
