Fuckin' Hell mate !! That is one hell of bruise .... Still with a bit of luck and a good insurance company you can be back on 2 wheels in no time and tormenting cage drivers all over the country ..
All the best in your recovery and hopefully there will be no lasting after-effects ...

Won't be getting back on that bike, it is off to the wreckers. Sore as hell. On morphine and a whole host of drugs.... But I am so thankful for all the words of encouragement. Cheers

heart goes out to ya. all the best, and don't do yourself a serious "wrist" injury by spending too much time surfing those "sites" while recuperating!!

I hate opening your posts because I always know it's going be bad news. At least from now on it can't get any worse.

Sell that bike to someone you really hate and by a GSXR.

Bloody cursed bike!, We are gonna come and pay you a visit seeing as you are a captive audience! hehehe,
Seriously though, that is one hell of a bruise, you must be feeling pretty sore and pissed off, there are worse places to be than Gizzy I'm sure. Glad you have access to a computer, I've checked out all the bike shops in Gizzy today and they all have bugger all in the way of bikes for sale, except there is a honda vtr 250 in great condition in Gis Honda, but it didn't have a price tag. You do realise your next bike needs to be a honda don't you! Was it Gisborne hospital that took 36 hours to determine you had broken bones?, if so that is shameful to say the least.

Don't ever opt to go to Whakatane hospital just too many horror stories like wrong limbs being amputated....
