    Bike recalls?

Been speaking with a mate back in London who is telling me that a certain model of sportsbike is being recalled because of defective brake components. He reckons it's a Kawasaki of some sort but cant be sure. I've asked him to find out and let me know.

Anyone here know of a bike recall happening at the moment?

Knowing my mate, it's probably a lawnmower or something, he has about as much mechanical savvy as a fecking sandfly...

Heard it has something to do with the new 250 ninja but cant be 100% sure about that. Aparently the pads are creating alot of noise and shuddering. Not sure if its affecting any other bikes in the range.

Hmmm just did a quick search and have found what looks like 2 seperate re calls for 3 different problems.
    1. Brake pads
    2. Fuel lines
    3. Crankcase vent

My KLR650 has been subject to two recalls - muffler mounting bolts and indicators. In each case I have received a letter from the NZ distributor.
If it's an official recall, the manufacturer or distributor should be informing the bike owners.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
