Rotation direction of rotors?

How important is it that the little arrow on your brake rotors is pointing in the correct direction? I have noticed I have 2 left ones, therefore one is rotating in the wrong direction! Is it a big deal???

What would happen if one was correct and one was not - and they were applied - would you meet yourself in the middle

Why is it on there then?

So that the pattern of the cooling holes goes the same way, which makes them look 'right'.

It won't however matter how which direction they turn, and it won't matter how the holes scrape that pages, backwards, forwards, they'll work the same either way.

I suppose I can believe that seeing as my wavey discs are symetrical and don't have a directional arrow. Just thought I'd check seeing as in the manual it says "ENSURE ARROW MATCHES THE DIRECTION OF ROTATION."
Silly old me thinking the guys who built the thing would know something I didn't.
