    Tell me about it.
I lifted a Norton on a trailer once just by picking it. Now I struggle getting both wheels on a Bonneville off the ground solo.

It's all relative - pay the tax and get over it. Mr Road Rash is a miniscule component in the cost of stupidity pool.
Yep right on. So many other reasons acc are tucking everybody and motorcyclists are just a small part of it and the stupidity pool is just getting bigger.

Oh, don't get me started with ball sports!

But in their defence, they warm up before playing, undergo training and conditioning- heck some are even wearing padding and head protection and they don't have to by law.
We are talking about the lowest common denominator in Darwinism here.

I sometimes pull up to this type at the front of the lights and lean over and say- like I've just met Superman in the flesh "You must be invincable!"
The reply is often "Huh?" or "What?"

"The way that your skin is impervious to asphalt"

Then ride off at the light change

(I actually do this, have done it plenty of times over the last 20+ years)

I had some arseclown on a 50cc scooter 'radically undertake' me in Newmarket - he was wearing singlet, board shorts and jandals and I thought it was fantastic.

well there you go then, they dont have to by law, but they choose too, just like motorcyclists have that choice.

The reason it upsets me is because its my taxes and increasing acc levies that pay for these fuckwits when they do fall off!

So lobby ACC to not cover people without full gear if it annoys you. Or quit worrying.

If I wanted to get you revving up, I'd just pull off the front panel and connect the clearly-labelled wires.

True that! jeepers, I feel so easy all of a sudden...

To get back on topic. I saw something rather puzzling today: a guy rifing a gorgeous R1, with a lovely pillion (well, lovely from the rear anyway), and both with only shorts and jandals

Now, wouldn't that hurt his toes to shift gears in jandals?

Nah, you just use the toe strap part to push up on the lever.
