Ack Shirley, yes, it does hurt. (I have lots of experience riding in jandals. Even wrote off my first bike wearing a nice brown'n'cream pair).

No, I'm not talking about limp-wristed people (I do know how to spell).
I'm talking about "Fuck All Gear, All The Time". Well... maybe only Most of the time, for all I know.
There's a guy who lives somewhere in or near Birkenhead, who I've spotted several times, riding a Triumph Rocket III. Each time he's been wearing the following:
An open-faced helmet.
A nylon "Fox" jacket or vest (the latter, I think, from memory).
Shorts.
Sports shoes.
Underwear and socks. (I guess).

Yeah it's his business, but it... just... sorta bothers me.
We're talking here about Serious Motorcycle Iron, ridden in a very casual way. It keeps niggling at me, in a way that someone dressed Eggs Zachary the same but riding a Dog 50 scooter wouldn't cause more than a slight "Tsk" or shake of the head.

Mate i know what you mean i cant get it, why do they risk it even more by riding like that. But i take it like this, they have been educated on all the different things that could happen to them plus more without the proper gear so i look at it like this i like my life and skin and they must just not care. I dress properly even for a ride to the shops (learn't the hard way) O yes and i've seen that guy before.
