KDX Motard and getting it road regoed. HELP!

Hows it goin? I'm new to the road stuff, and have to sit out my 18 months on a 250, can't stand the thought of going to a tank hugger and have my heart set on motards, have got an 05 kdx, and no money for another bike, can anyone help me out to find loopholes to get my kdx on the road, and then can anyone help with a set of 17's?????????? cheers!!

I think a KDX would be fun as long as you don't have to do motorways... I had an RMX 250. Was good until it blew up, on a motorway, lol... That said, I wasn't riding it at the time, so not sure how it was being ridden...

Does the bike have any lights on at the moment? Have you spoken to anyone to find out whether the range of VIN numbers is illegal for road use?

I'm sure others will add comments about what can/'t be done... (stink, beaten by OB, lol...)

Actually, I think the KLX would be a good bike. Since it's already tarded too.

The question is though, do you want to go riding dirt on weekends? If you tard your KDX, you have the best of both worlds.

Not a KLX but an interesting vid comparison...

I suppose it depends on how much you want to spend... I'm sure the KLX is probably too expensive for what it is. You's have to weigh it against what it's going to cost overall to get the KDX running...
