A universal dream of greatness is that
We push ourselves to the limit
Yet still be brilliant when the chips are down.
Sometimes , The struggle kills the dream.
some people say that they would rather do this than the wires!- at least you dont have to wash the bike afterwards!

Use a defferent name on the photo Greg, however I think that I never needed to see that photo.... EVER!! YUCK!
I could be keen to give wires a crack, but I think I'd need a pipe guard and a cup of concrete......
I thought I had tried a different name but with the same result. Other sites will let you post the same pic twice but this one always comes up with that the file has already been uploaded blah blah.
I didn't run a pipe guard and none of us smashed our pipes when we did it although the potential is definatly there. Just don't go crazy and my concern was actually the crank cases but we got through without any damage.
I think i damaged my pipe when i went over the bars heading down the rocky section of the long down hill. Going to fastand this is based on a bad one-off expirence, or is it the kinda thing that happens to everyone lol?![]()
But definitly lower gearing for my bike would have made a huge differance.
I've got a bash plate for the sump, but I should get a pipe guard.
