funny how these are $199 US RRP, yet $559 here,

yet the EVS brace is 199 US RRP and $299 (but going to $349) here,

    interesting comparison,

Ah but does the EVS come with the free rider training worth $200 if you order Leatt's on the MXDK web site

I've got to say Scott EVS are doing damn well with those prices, google calls $200USD as $360NZD & that's without GST !.

For the record I don't like cross subsidies & think EVS has the better approach.

    Been waiting for these

I thought they where supposed to be priced around $200 USD similar to the EVS but they are $559-00 here http://www.mxdk.com/mxdk_Leatt_Brace...roduct_id=1006.

Hang on they are 195-00 at http://www.btosports.com/p/LEATTADV?query=leatt.

Ok then lets do the math
Their USA retail Say $200-00USD(that incl their Margin rent etc) to NZD = $363-00. Bloody exchange rate is piss poor at the moment, damn it?
    Plus GST = $408-00.

OK do I get my mate to get one from USA

or Wait and see what Scott can do them for?

or wait and see if they come down after the first rush is over?

or Ask Danger if he still likes his EVS revolution and finally make a decision.
The leatt has always looked like so much less hassle, smaller, lighter, cooler, easier fit with a pressure suit to me? But I haven't tried any yet so I'm no expert!
Bloody hell $560 bucks each looks like its the EVS or nothing??
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Well I don't know about lighter but the other points are a non issue to me.
Have to say I don't even notice my EVS after I removed the thinnest pad for adjustment. Its a lot easier to fit and remove than my mates Leatt.
Was talking to Luke Urhle at a ride recently and he was asking about my brace, he used to use a Leatt but stopped using it because it restricted him too much. Next ride he was using an EVS and seemed happy with it.
I think you would be impressed with the EVS Reckless. I like to be comfortable when I ride and I'm happy with mine. And the price from Scott was too good to pass up.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

Well you've never put me wrong so far mate! I have to do something this Road bike neck injury still gives me a bit of shit and I really should make sure I don't ping it again. Gonna look a bit silly puting all the "bling" on and riding at my speed though, but preventioon is better than cure!
Looks like Kings pricing has pushed me to the EVS anyway gotta afford the new bike though first! Cart before the hourse?? or is it Hourse before the cart??
