you will find most will go to the whatawhata ride on sat and then sum will go to glen murry and sum will go to maramarua either way should be a good weekend for all
I'll be bucking the trend and doing Maramarua with a mate or 2. I like those knotty hills.
So which is the best trial ride this Sunday - Glen Murray sounds like it will be packed - whats South farms like versus Maramarua versus Glen Murray - they are all close to Auckland
So what
Dunno bout souths farm , maramarua is probably a bit steeper and snottier clay based but should be nice and tacky with rain last week, glen murray based on farm land -havent done it but is probably much more open and fast much like naike ride.
i reckon maramarua will be good as will be glen murry i have yet to decide with sum mates which ride we r going to as for south farm ride not to sure never done that ride before but sounds like it could be like paeora or glen murry
just plain old kimmys for me this weekend
well what a mint day and mint ride the tracks were mint went through a shit load of water.that is the ride i am always going to look forward to and the good thing was with all the rides on that day there was a good amount of people not to many just enough to make the day sweet.
Had a very good day - really liked the new rough & tough course additions. Greg P and crew have added a quite few new tracks, twisty/technical stuff mainly, reminded me a lot of Riverhead, especially the type of knotty surface roots you get with the pines/clay combo. Great fun exploring different line options out of the main groove (with some unintentional excursions). 'Everest' hill not what you'd call particularly challenging in the dry but was superb fun blasting up a such a long steep hill.
