    Deus ex Machina

Went there today with a mate. I didn't really get it. While they have nice bikes on display the food is very limited and we were the only (obvious) bikers there tho the place was packed. And are they just taking the piss with their prices??? $3000 for a gas tank??!!. $22500 for a W650 with some bolt on bits? I don't think the bike shop come cafe scene is for me. Maybe it's an Auckland thing?

The coffee is shite too and the service! We waited 40 minutes for our coffee........ but I would go back 'cos my Dad loves it and now that I ride we have lots of fun together.
Yes I sound like I am 5 but I have recently discovered the joy of biking with my old Dad.

There were heaps of bikers when I went there, but I was the only woman rider.

And people wonder why some up this way are opposed to becoming part of a SUPER CITY called Auckland

    One word "franchaise".....
$850 for an open face lid? $1600 for a small cockpit fairing for a Thruxton.

Considering it's a monday, i think you'll find most of us townies were at work.

25% sale tho for 2 weeks. That gas tank just became 'financible'

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Lol are you serious? Last time I went there, I took as many photos as I could (lost the USB that they're on along with all my uni work) and the staff didn't seem to notice.

Maybe because I was using my iPhone ._.

For them to be asking $22000 for a WF it would have to be incredibly custom to say the least, still they will probably have the last laugh as someone will buy it.Wouldnt mind seeing a pic of it all the same.Over the years ive spent more on my old TL than its currently worth with one of bits/wheels etc none of which make its value any higher to anyone else bar me.

Billy Joel paid that for one what an idiot and after seeing pics of the bike I was dumbfounded I picked up a wrecked w650 for $500.00 and was going to hardtail it but got offered good money for it as is and needed the cash to finish my harley shovel and I think I could have built a similiar bike for $5000-6000.00 on the road.

Not if you build it yourself and buy the parts from the source. Saw a nice T shirt but at $90 I think i'll just print my own.

Been in there a few times to have a nosey as it's not far from work. They've got some nice bikes and the guys are really friendly and happy to chat bikes for ages, but there prices are bonkers. I was eying up building a kaff-racer based on a W650 and I could have built an almost identitcal bike to one in the shop for almost $10k less. Admittedly the guy was saying they rejet the carbs and set it up on a rolling road, but still, was a lot of pennies. Guess you're paying for the labour.

They seem to be catering for the rich late 30's/early 40's family guys who want one because they're 'cool'. Stopped by on a couple of weekends and I've never seen so many 4x4s and minted families in one spot. Must be the entire population of Remuera out for the day

Yes, the price of the t-shirts was crazy - even by Auckland standards lol! I did see some remuera house wife types buying some though
