    Whats with some guys commuting?

The last few days ive been on my way to work on the ol scoot. I've gone past a guy on a bike and bingo its the lane split grand prix.
Its like they can't handle beeing passed by a bloke on a 20 year old bike. :spudwhat:
Trouble is theyre all over the place trying to out run me
    Whats that all about?

i always feel bad when i meet another rider on the daily commute... usually cos I pretty much max it out between cars (as in catching up to next bottleneck, not splitting them!!) - and cos the hutt "mway" is full of blimin traffic lights, you get plenty of places to max it out.

if no one was around, i'd be riding damn near flat chat. but if another bike is around, i feel a bit bad doing that cos they prob think i'm having a go at them or something when all i'm doing is just riding like I normally do.

of course, sometimes its great if they do bite - the MV F4 did a spectacular job of rubbing in just how much straight line speed my bike doesn't have, or that could have been the extra friction that my bike was creating on the road by having BOTH wheels on the tarmac, unlike the MV.

I don't think your blackbird would paste one in even in a straight line.

Take a look at the flying runs last year on http://www.cdd.co.nz/sprint/EastWest...ltsNov2004.htm
