Whats with some guys commuting?

Ya know in 25 years of riding Ive never had an accident commuting -not once -never. NADA zero.The last 2 accidents I had -actually the only 2 in 7 years -one was on the racetrack and one was well plain dumb luck.
I generally ride with my hand already on the front brake commuting which means if I get even a flicker of sideways movement from a cage driver I haul on the brakes.
Point taken though guys The very reason I buy old bikes is to slow myself down -Im an impatient old bastard
Maybee Id better go back to the ol CB125 to commute on
