    The first fall...

Well, I did it, first ever fall and it was a doozy

I was having a lovely cruise down the back of Martinborough, came round the corner...... there are roadworks, with lotsa gravel, and a pothole, and no &$#@@&$ warning signs! So down we went!!

Result: couple of scratches on the tank, one busted wing mirror, and one slightly wonky clutch - and only slightly wonky as it was saved by the judicious application of my hand underneath it!

Result for rider: interesting gravel patterns on my knuckles and a broken finger.

    Result for council:

However, after some tweaking here and there, the ride was completed, I even stopped for lunch in Greytown (and painkillers)!

I think, on reflection, it's gonna take more than that to put me off riding (although maybe I'll be buying some better gloves).

yup chanceyy can help with the council thing .. but you need to get pics .. so if you didn't get any yesterday get back ASAP and contact the council today regarding it ... its stupid that there was no signage that area is one which is highly used.
