    Another noob (Going Postal)

Hey guys, been here a while so I thought it was time to say hi.

    The story goes like this.
Have wanted a bike/my bike license for ages now, then I stumbled across the kiwi-biker forums, then i REALLY wanted a bike/my bike license. So after all these years of procrastination I finally:

    -Passed my basic handling yesterday.
-Played scratch and win and got my learners today.
    -Bought a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja250r Today.
    -Gets delivered tomorrow.

    Can't wait!

can't say i've ridden a new ninja 250,but from all the modern 250's you can choose from today,i don't think you'll be the slightest bit dissapointed in it

    Welcome to KB.

Have fun. Find a mentor (little green ME beside each mentor's name) in your area.

Mmm, new Ninja. Did you buy the cute little Yoshi as well?
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

Nah, didn't get the Yoshi, the bike completely blew my budget as it is. Speaking of my bike, it turned up this morning and I had the opportunity to take it for a quick ride. The manual tells me I have to keep it under 4000rpm for the first 800km, but even while doing so I had a blast. It's a good thing I was wearing a full face helmet too, so the passing motorists couldn't see the shit-eating grin that was plastered all over my face!
