    Life sucks!

OMG!!! Its like a posion day today, blue sky and a hot road. And all i can do is look at my gsxr in the garage with the engine pulled apart while i wait for my parts to get here

Like how can i stay alive with out my bike, i rode carvers gsxr1000 back from DMTD's place yesterday but its just not the same as riding my own bike.

owell off to Ragland in the brand new xr6 with the body board so ill see if thats more fun, dout it tho.

That's the thing Sidewinder. Being a good road rider isn't about getting your knee down or losing your chicken strips or being the fastest over a particular bit of road...

...riding on the road is all about getting your bike, body, and hopefully your licence home in one piece so you can do it all again the next day and the next.

    Everything else is bullshit.

But saying that, theres no point if ya aint enjoying it - and we all have different levels of what it takes for us to enjoy something.

    Its mainly an age thing.

And rear ending parked cars counts as what exactly? Seems you lot have some growing up to do. Sidewinder, given your history, no sympathy from me. But in order to rub salt into the wounds - I'm about to jump on one of my three working bikes and go for a ride with my hottie on the bitch pad.

    Life is great.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

I got some infraction points for reposting something you said yesterday, hence not being allowed to do it again. I'll bling you when I can again...

If that were the case, wouldn't it be easier to just never take the bike out and then your bike, body and your license will be perfectly safe. And you could do it whenever the hell you wanted!

That's a hell of a way to get your thrills out of having a bike, I envy you like I envy a cheap drunk.

You cannot get home safely if you don't set out in the first place. It's about getting home safely.

Well I've clocked up 18,000 ks in the last 15 months. So much or for your "I don't ride just to be safe" theory. (enjoyed every moment of it too)

You see, I had assumed that you do a fair bit of a riding.

And that is why it particularly baffled me when you said the most part of riding is being home safe and sound, I mean, sure. It's bloody nice to be home and still in one piece. But I don't think on any occasion i've thought to myself that getting home is what's riding's all about..

The actual ride tends to interest me more.
