When it was at a $1.71 that’s was bad and I though it will only get better then it went to $1.80 again I though can only get better now we are at nearly $1.84

Hey its not all Bad! I have overseas bookings coming in for the new years rides and they are all paying up front! They cant wait to part with their cash.

It is at 54 cents on the US$.

Do not forget back in 2003 it was 41 cents on the dollar so it is a ways off that mark.
Back then Suzuki NZ charged you over NZ$500 for one bare side of a TL1000S fairing,when the rate had almost doubled some years later they still charged over $500.. figure that one out.
A few months ago the Aussie dollar was almost equal to the US dollar,now it 64 cents with a 61 cent low.
At one stage it dropped by 2 % in a day proving it is all BS.

I have a Corbin seat on the way for the DR,NZ$859 (AU$722) but my butt will thank me for it. ( A few months ago it would have been AU$477)

Fuel has come down on Darwin but we are still amongst the highest in Australia.

Don't worry, American dollar will crash soon. Give it a maximum of 3 months. Then bang. The American dollar is overinflated at the moment, but when their credit rating drops when people work out that the country is insolvent. Every body drags their money out of US treasury bonds and the US $ and it all comes crashing down. Still from where I'm sitting the value of the NZ $ is the least of your worries. I reckon NZ is a great country to be in for the times ahead, next two years will get ugly.

God I hope the US dollar crashes.

I want the NZD to sit at a minimum of 80 cents to the USD. Preferably higher. Hell even better would be a government that's prepared to peg our dollar against the US at that level!
