I get really fucked off by people who think that the V-Max is a crusier. Dickheads.

I just took off like I was at the traffic lights - road style - shifting 1,000 short of redline in all gears - and it read around 200kph at the quarter.

RM did the drag starts - but I was shooting stills.

Methinks that would make it a little sweeter when nailing Gixxers light to light.

I saw 200+kph on the clock at the 'around about' the gate. Plenty more with than that with rolling starts.

But I was more cautious on launching than the boss - who really tapped it out in all gears.

Wind shear has never really been an issue to my gorila-like self till way more than that.
From memory it runs low 9s @143mph . Need i say anymore

    Sweet.

What times did it actually run? Was the strip prepped, or was it a slippery fishtailing start?

Green as grass - all of it.

Strip was as we found it, Ross didn't want burn outs or smoke for KR - and the bike had 30Km on it - (Yamaha were there and approved) - in fact suggested we maybe try repeat the exercise when it loosens up after a thousand.

RM commented on breaking traction into second. I have ballast.

My best was a mid 10 - self timed.
