Lots of KBs out to-night

Just got back from a month shut in the naki..cold place.
Keen for a ride.so a mate and myself head down to wangamata for cruise
then back to whitianga
back to the Thames coast.
then over to kaiaua for some fish and chips
lots of bikes there.. all KBs.
was good to catch up.. and put a few faces to names.
got some pics but left my camera in the bike , which is about 50 mtrs away
had a great ride. warm too.
looks like the weather is bringing us all out.
missed dam GIjoe by seconds..

The funny thing is, I was doing the coro loop and I actually stopped in at Kevfromcoro's place! No one home, so I did what comes naturally to me ... I rode!

Saw a dozen or so bikes coming up from Thames as I was heading back Figgers, after all that riding, only towards the end do I see other bikers out n'about! I turn right into Miranda once past those boring straights and then zipped past Kaiaua fush n'chups and saw all the bikes parked up ... was thinking "should I stop?" But once I am moving, and the bike is zootling along, I just keep going!

Funny thing is, I met up with TOTO who was back riding from Raglan at BP Takanini and then we do a SATNR ride route by ourselves ... and come across the real SATNR crew in Clevedon! Anyway TOTO and I rode the Maraetai-Whitford to Botany where we viewed a Xmas scene house and I carried on riding via Whitford back home.

My Big Ol'Hornet was due for 18000km service ... of which I am now 3000km over Booking for service was already done for next week ... but how did I managed to do that? Oh wait ... :slap: I been riding ... in my own interminable pootling way!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Visit the Fish and Chip shop in Kaiaua often enough and you will meet just about every motorcyclist inb New Zealand.

Good thing I tend to go back over all the places and roads I have travelled before several times at least!

Christ ,, iam having a bad run lattely..
About 2 months ago my XR backfired on me....
month off work.
Then i fell over in the garage ..and knocked myself out.
yesterday i went for a ride... and a car coming the the other way flicked up a stone...i mean a big one..
got me on the boot..shit it hurt..
thought some cow cockie had shot me..
going to buy a lotto ticket............
