    ACC Levies - Submissions

ACC levy submission time, yet again people

    BRONZ mail posted as follows:-

    Greetings,

Submissions on the ACC levies for motor vehicles are due by 1700 hrs, 18 Sep.

I have attached a copy of the BRONZ Auckland submission, feel free to personalise it by adding your name and address (and any other changes you may wish to make) then send it to ACC.

Tell your mates who don't receive this notice.  Last year bikers made 1200 plus submissions, and it did make a difference.  The fact that levies are dropping this year (a very little) is a fluke, and the injustice of the differential rating applied to motorcycles remains.  We need to lobby as hard as we did last year.

Send a copy to your local MP - find their contact details here: http://www.clerk.parliament.govt.nz/YourMP/ListMPs/ .

Send a copy to the Minister for ACC, Hon Ruth Dyson -

    Snail mail: Freepost Parliament,
    PO Box 18888, Wellington
    Fax: 04 470 6784

Forward the message through the biking community to the max between now and the deadline for submissions.

    Yours faithfully,
    Bruce Crowther, editor, Centreline.
