Got held up saturday morning heading south after we heard lots of sirens. Turned around when we saw the traffic & went Egmont road. Heard today a biker heading to the toy run was involved & saw police surveying the scene at Topec turnoff today. Hope the biker is healing.

that must be another one again maybe ?

the one I saw was just past Rahotu and we were redirected up Ngariki rd onto Wiremu rd to Eltham,

makes you wonder how accidents like that can happen on a dead straight road ?

one thing i never did was ride in a group, always found it fraught with danger myself !!

hope hes ok ,always sad to see.
