How did you go at the GNCC mate did the Knarly change the power delivery?
Nah, I fancy trying a different style of bike all together, but will stick with mine for the time being (unless I had a good offer)

The pipe did make a differance, really grunty down low, and a better mid power. It doesn't hold the power as long, but I guess thats just the pipe adjusting the power delivery.

the gncc track was great, really tight with some great little climbs through rocks etc, perfect for the gasser and neither of us got any injurys. Barty is doing real well though, he'll place high at the end of it all.

Glad the new pipe worked for you thats what you where after wasn't it?? Told you yours was quite long and skinny. With a 2 smoker you never add to power you usually transfer it from one place to another. Especially with the pipe.

Barty's doing great good on him!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

yep,i have heard alot of very good things about the ktm200,probably the class leader in the 0-200cc enduro/trail scene i would say,but i guess im talking about maximum bang for a hard earned buck, and the GasGas and kdx, new, are way cheaper options than the brilliant but pricey Ktm at the moment for me.looks like comments are leaning the way of the GasGas so far...Hmmm,anybody else got any experience or comments 'bout the two of them?
    Mucho appreciated.

The KDX with a bit of suspension work is a mighty bike, but if you already have an 04 I don't see any point in trying to find a new one as they are exactly the same, so I would go for the gas gas.
