    Dead man riding

I was tootling along in my cage at about 50 k this morning on the urban motorway, when I was passed by a bike, he/she must of been doing 100 plus up the middle.

I thought to myself..........that the guy must be such an expert rider that his ability obviously made up for the stupid cage drivers he was passing. His skill must of been such that he was able to guess when random dickheads would change lanes, break beside trucks, or gennerally do all the dumb shit things that cage drivers do.

    That guy is my hero

maybe a close member of his family was lying dying somewhere and he thought it worth the risk to get to see them before they took their final breath.

If ya were in Auckland rather than Welly, I'd reckon he musta just been running late for the 'Hero' parade mate..........

Odds are that sooner or later, the planets won't be so nicely aligned when he tries again - Darwin theory usually gets them sometime.

If it was a burgundy Guzzi V11 Sport, then I'm sure it wasn't me. I mean to say there's hundreds of those in Welly....

Nah. It must have been me. My nickname is Moses.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
