When I was talking to the xtra techy about mid-day I managed to get on with xtra broadband, it was only for a few minutes... no joy since then. Have sent an email enquiry to telecom. Hopefully if enough people complain they may sort it

xtra's routing is fucked. However, the droids that answer the phone will not even know what a tracert is, so they will not understand or believe.

    Chnage suppliers.

Mine is xtra, it's fucked, i'm logged on through vodafone wireless.

I'd love to change! But can't... corporate account, work computer. I'd love to have my home computer(this one) on clearnet broadband, but can't as there is already an xtra broadband puter on the line. Sux!

    server busy.

Cowboyz is getting server busy all the time when trying to view forums. Either that or it reverts back to the home page.

    What could be causing this?

    fix?

Kiwibiker works fine on my log in.

There's been a lot of Xtra users reporting problems just recently. Xtra's Network Engineers will hopefully figure out that their routing to certain US sites is screwed.

Even when I worked for Telecom and could've gotten my internet connection for free I chose to pay a different company. Never once regretted it either.

    Yep same problem here,
I have been on phone to xtra 3 times so far. They have no idea. Only way I can log on is with a proxy server.
As someone else mentioned I did try a new ip address but to no avail,
so maybe its a whole set of ip address's that are being blocked rather than random ones? So is pretty much everyone who is with xtra having this problem?

I just wish they would fix the damn thing.
