    Cool Nelson bike info

    Hi to all, was put onto this site via ex pats. Will be shipping my beloved Yam R46-R6 over early next year. Think i am up to date on expected costs i will incurr impoting it to NZ. As we are looking at settling in Nelson and surrounding area, will my bike be shipped to Nelson on south island, also any bike shops recomended for services ect in nelson, as well as any helpful tips you can supply cheers from Tony

    They should be your people, although they specalise in BMW, Triumph, KTM, they should be able to accom yours.

    And welcome to a great part of NZ, there are some great roads in the Tasman area.

    You have a R6. There's a Yamaha dealer in the area, Filco farm and sports. Yamaha and Kawasaki agents...

    nelson

    theres several bike shops here in nelson
    they seem to vary in prices quite dramaticly
    www.filco.co.nz
    www.morleymotorcycles.co.nz .......i think
    no shortage of people to go riding with
    416 bikes gathered last weekend for the annual toy run
    i hate lawnmowersand rainy weekends

    Cool sounds ok to me then, sounds like the rounds will give my R6 a good work out, looking forward to it all ready. thanks for the links
