Best upgrade from ZZR250 for a big guy?

I'm riding a ZZR250 at the moment but will be looking to upgrade in the next little while. Does anyone have any advice on a bike to look at? I'm 6'3" 100kg so not exactly small so something comfortable would be good. I'm looking at a sports bike/sports tourer and want to keep it fairly light. Looking at spending up to around $7000

    ZZR600, GS500, CB900 (tame for a 900 so still a good step-up bike), or maybe a GSF600.

Depends what you are looking for - faired, naked, something to tour two-up with or by yourself, with or without luggage?

The Suzuki GS500 is good value for money.

    how bout an SV 650?
Cats land on their feet. Toast lands jamside down.
A cat glued to some jam toast will hover in quantum indecision

Curiosity was framed; ignorance killed the cat

Fix a computer and it'll break tomorrow.
Teach its owner to fix it and it'll break in some way you've never seen before.

$7000 would buy you a nice ZZR1100. I got sick of my ZZR600 real quick, especially 2-up. Still a nice bike though.
60% of the time, it works everytime
