    Ngaroma trail ride

Did this ride today. Was very good weather.
Track course was completely changed from last year's.
Loop was around 35 k's and was a mixture of open farmland, some good hill climbs -quite a bit of narrow bush sections which was very slippery in some places but good fun and kept me on my toes. Some paddock sections had long grass which made line picking a bit challenging(hidden ruts and bumps). The second time I went round the track, very deep ruts had developed on the way into the bush section and bottlenecking had started happening. Fortunately some riders had parked up to assist in getting bikes through.Wet clay didn't help much.Apparently there was someone injured(broken arm and leg).Seemed like a very good turnout and as an incentive to get riders to sign out they had spot prizes. I saw heaps of people with prizes. Thanks to the organizers, sponsors and farmers for making it happen.Anyone else from KB attend this ride today?

Totally agree with the 2 stroke idea mate.I like the smooth bottom end torque of the 4t but, man you cant beat the rush of that power band I reckon.Just a case of being in the right gear for the situation. Not to mention ease of maintainence.
