On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
Sunday will now be
Leos Birthday
Father in Laws for Xmas lunch
BBQ at a mates house for dinner
LOL what a busy day!
Hey Scott, how much will the fire extingushers be on the day?

looking forward to this one.turned up last year with bald tyres and a gear lever which stripped itself half way through and had a blast up until then so can't wait to give this trail a good crack since I am well prepared this time
they will be $25 on the day,
ill try to get the street address, but it starts at the paparimu school, signposted from the Bombay off ramp, and from SH2 Lyons road, Mangatawhiri
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.
Nathan Woods R.I.P.
farrk what a day, mean ride, i banged out 6 laps including all A loops, but had a blast, loved that muddy first A loop, was nothing hard about the hill climb tho, bloody good job scott n co i could see carnage unfold if it pissed down in the middle of the day tho.
+1 with 4stroke.had a absolute blast , did 4 laps , with mixes of A and B routes (found the 2nd deviation of the A route a little "TIGHT" for a quad) but enjoyed all the rest of the terrain.no problems getting a big 500cc 4 stroke quad up those hills, just had to weave my way through the odd person having trouble on a couple of the greasy parts.counting down to next year already!![]()
Yep that was an excellent ride, fast and flowing through the trees with some good variation, really enjoyed it.
thanks to all that turned up (562 riders) a record number for this ride,
was awesome to have a dry Paparimu ride for once, although there was mud in the a loops,
Absolutely stoked with the ride today. Found last year a real battle (on rear tire past it's best), this time was just a total blast. Struck a long 'waiting list' to get up first climb in the morning but no traffic jams after that. My 'new' EXC200 really blew me away today with what it could do.
Riding buddy head-butted a fence post and ended up with a 'time out' in the ambulance. His short term memory was out of whack for a while! Keith M (on a farm quad) was a real gent bringing him out and then getting me back up the hill to pick up his bike. Thanks Scott and team, very much appreciated. Best day I've had all year, I really needed that.
