Fair enough KK. Can't argue with you there. I got the SV cos I wanted to race the SV. I did the vicclub winter series in clubmans as they weren't allowed in F3 . The first F3 race I did was you against you guys in akl. I learnt more in that race than 1/2 seacon in clubmans
I didn't buy the SV to win in F3 but I can understand the sentiment that if you do want to win in F3 then buy an SV. Its the bike of the moment - who knows what will be released in the next couple of years that'll clean up, and we can go through this whole argument again![]()

umm, why would a 'very competitive bike' still be wearing road tyres? I can't identify the make etc but no self respecting track tyre has grip to the edges unless its a wet or intermediate... and that doesn't look like either to me given the spacing between treads. Makes me suspicious
Good on you Tony for buying it. It should be more reliable in the short term, and any money that you were going to spend on Mella yella you can now spend on the SV650. You would have needed to upgrade at some time, better to do it now when you can, instead of later when you have to. Hope to see you passing Hoon sometime soon
Speed limits are just a suggestion, like pants.
