    152kg dry weight.
    though mine will be a little less. i ditched the chunky muffler/exhaust
    for a lighter / smaller one.. oh and it sounds better too XD
    is <3 supposed to be a heart or an ass hat?

    i was really keen on a hornet when i first started.. but dad wouldnt let me..
    so i ended up with a CBF250...

    but now i have my ninja so all is well.. though i still want to try a hornet out
    is <3 supposed to be a heart or an ass hat?

    "why get a X year old bike for $XXXX when u can get a brand new one for... " etc..

    my original want was a VTR250..

    i think he wanted me to have a single cylinder bike first aswell..
    is <3 supposed to be a heart or an ass hat?

    they hold there price for a reason lol
    a x year bike running like a brand new one.. or if u get one in niice/perfect condition ( like mine ) lol.. try a hornet man they go great, mines for sale atm tho I already know how much i will miss it

    all three are very good learner bikes, but i think you were spot on with your first want for a vtr250

    (ps i'm looking to test ride a cbf230 to better qualify my opinions, so if you want a crack at a hornet my little brother has one....)

    Its true that the older 250cc bikes are faster than the new ones but there is always a trade off. The older ones are a little harder to ride due to needing to be thrashed a bit more to get the best performance out of them. So if you want a fast 250 buy an older one.
    The NINJA looks cool tho....

    i think we were going to do that awhile ago, but we never got round to it. My CBF250 is long gone

    i love the ninja 250R, i have a 2008 one and have learnt to ride on it.....its light, good riding position, easy to handle, great kms out of a tank, looks awesome even with an L plate on, great price, fast enough for a learner, great resale and of course....SEXY AS!!! what more could a learner biker chick want!
