Damn you ninjas and your lack of weight! I dont know what they make hyos out of!! (lead?)
how much do they weigh?
152kg dry weight.
though mine will be a little less. i ditched the chunky muffler/exhaust
for a lighter / smaller one.. oh and it sounds better too XD
is <3 supposed to be a heart or an ass hat?
160 on the flat today made my ninja go bang
i was really keen on a hornet when i first started.. but dad wouldnt let me..
so i ended up with a CBF250...
but now i have my ninja so all is well.. though i still want to try a hornet out
is <3 supposed to be a heart or an ass hat?
Why wouldn't he let you get a hornet?
"why get a X year old bike for $XXXX when u can get a brand new one for... " etc..
my original want was a VTR250..
i think he wanted me to have a single cylinder bike first aswell..
is <3 supposed to be a heart or an ass hat?
can someone post a picture of the left hand cylinder of a older gpx, i need to compare
BLASPHEMY!
now wonder you got a new ninja
all three are very good learner bikes, but i think you were spot on with your first want for a vtr250
(ps i'm looking to test ride a cbf230 to better qualify my opinions, so if you want a crack at a hornet my little brother has one....)
Its true that the older 250cc bikes are faster than the new ones but there is always a trade off. The older ones are a little harder to ride due to needing to be thrashed a bit more to get the best performance out of them. So if you want a fast 250 buy an older one.
The NINJA looks cool tho....
i love the ninja 250R, i have a 2008 one and have learnt to ride on it.....its light, good riding position, easy to handle, great kms out of a tank, looks awesome even with an L plate on, great price, fast enough for a learner, great resale and of course....SEXY AS!!! what more could a learner biker chick want!
lol
Sexy as indeed!
