KB Off-Road Poker Run, of sorts...

Well this started out with the KB boys getting a might cocky and Choppa asked who was the fast guys out there... well we all know don't we.

Well, infact we don't, as different guys/girls like to ride and race in different terrain.

So, as a result in another thread that we conveniently jacked we chucked around a few ideas. As a result we concluded that (well I did) we should have a Poker type run with proceeds going to the Westpac Rescue Chopper.

So the concept as I percieve it is that we start after The Sandpit closes on a Saturday at about 5-6 pm and have a GNCC type start. One loop around the MX track then into the tracks.

Heres the twist.

Each rider gets a map with the first cards position on it. How you get there is your concern. However you must follow the correct directions on the tracks (most important)at all times, but you may go bush or cross country. Shit I love bush bashing.

You may also take the fast routes but they may not be the quickest. But be aware that you may find that there are gates that could be closed and deviations inplace, you like tight..nah you must go open and vice versa, so therefore you could have to backtrack to find another route.

We will have people on the gates and they will just open and close them all arvo and intermitently. Pot luck. you may even get sent up the road, He he!

Once you have got the first card(just a coded number) then return to base, get another map with the next location on then away you go for the next card.

The winner is the winner but the overall winner is the rider with the best hand.

Entry $30 and we will put on a feed and donate all to $ Westpac.
The missus is out glueing Pinecones to plates as I type...wheres my dinner women!!

Id be in, often thought why you guys dont do some sort of event ideal place for it, would also be a ideal place for timed sprint races, on several tracks

I havn't had a look at the calenders yet but I think there is a ride in mid Jan (desert storm) so I wouldn't want to clash. Maybe the weekend after that?
