G for giraffe or G for goat?

Okay - can someone clear this up for me. I was dating a tosser (who's KB handle will remain private ) who used to have a go at me for saying Gixxer with a g sound like giraffe . He would tersly say it's Gixxer with a g sound like goat. Anyhoo, since the tosspot dumped me I have met some really awesome KBer's who say Gixxer with the g sound like giraffe like I say . What is they way it should be said or will it be easier to stick with saying GSXR ha

you could get really technical and call your bike a sixxer dc:< instead of a gixxer

I think term gixxer came more from europe/england.

Soft G is the right way- maybe there's something to your claim re hard G and tossers?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Either/either if you see my point. I've heard it said both ways.

If you wanted to say the acronym phonetically in Westie it would be 'geesuxer'. :-P

Yeah, it's "jickser", so it sounds more alliterative when used with word like "jism".
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
