    eek Chain Slider

Just got quoted $170 3 weeks x Japan for one of these

Dino, did you find one for yours locally?

Chains started to eat thru swingarm so need one pronto, any body brought one recently?

Not gonna pay $170, might have to DIY one unless i can find a cheaper option

When I needed one for my previous DR650 the local suzi shop suggested a nylon chopping board cut and bent to shape. Gotta be cheaper than $170!

i was quoted about $190 and about 4 weeks so i got an aftermarket one of the net for around 100 and only took around 5 days to get here

made of stronger material thats supposed to last longer then the stock one as well

couldnt find any locally and wasnt going to pay twice the price and wait more then twice as long for the honda shop to order one in

Naa mate none locally, well none that i want to pay for any way, when i buy one it will prolly be through bikebandit or simular, theres quite a few sites over there that have every possible part you could need for an xr Fook bluewing honda ya rip of pricks(yeh yeh i know small market different economy blah blah blah)....
anyway this is what i came up with, cut from a blue plastic drum, done just over 1k and just a light bit of wear should get 10k out of it.
sorry bad photos, just took them now with cell phone
