    Hey Col,
    Rebuild getting there, bike is back in one bit but kickstart not working properly so going to have to take that apart to see why?
    Hope your house escaped the damage, luckily ours is fine, no extra damage

    I have done a search and managed to download the Workshop/Service manual but would like to know if anybody has a link for the owners manual for the XR650R. Thanks in advance.

    By the way, just returned from a timely holiday in Oz and have my bike back together and running. New piston seems to be delivering more power
    Hoping to head away this weekend for a run in ride but bike seems to be running well,

    started hooking up the screeny thingamejig tonight still gotta find a little clear screen for the top. soo no benda or welds so shes a little rough but if it works practically i'll get a pro to make a new one later on
